Later in the summer of 2024, additional variants, including a second fully electric model and another diesel option, will be introduced, further expanding the model range.

Production of the new BMW X2 and BMW iX2 will be carried out flexibly on a single assembly line at BMW Group Plant Regensburg. The site will also manufacture the high-voltage batteries for the fully electric model variant, underscoring the BMW Group's commitment to accelerating the transition to electric mobility. Emphasizing sustainability, the compact SAC's premium profile aligns with advancements in sustainability across the entire vehicle lifecycle, from production to recycling.

Visually expressive and distinctly differentiated from its compact Sports Activity Vehicle counterpart, the BMW X1, the new BMW X2 boasts a commanding presence with its dynamically stretched lines and generous surface treatment. Marked by increased dimensions, enhanced wheelbase, and wider tracks, the new model offers improved space both for occupants and cargo.

At the forefront of its design is the model-specific, upright front end featuring striking LED headlights and an optional hexagonal BMW kidney grille with Iconic Glow contour lighting. The coupé-shaped silhouette flows seamlessly into the rear, accentuated by prominently flared wheel arches and a muscular rear end. M-specific design elements and aerodynamically optimized exterior details further enhance the dynamic appeal of the model.
